The many-T sounds and combinations will be covered in detail later in the course. For now, here are a few examples of each.
Legit -T (true -T – when -T prepares the stress or begins the word.
Tango, tenacious, attack, attire, intent.
Manhattan -T(glottal stop -T – followed by an -N syllable) important, sentence, cotton, mountain, maintenance, intermittent.
