Pretty little Italy -T(flap -T)

Flap -T between 2 words

Connect a final -T to the next word’s vowel sound—“got it” and “not at all” are good examples.

4:08 of listening & practice

Here, the final -T in one word connects to the following word starting in a vowel sound.
Don’t care at all, forget it already, laugh at it, what are you doing? get another one, what about tomorrow? get enough sleep, what is it? what else can we do? not at all, got it, get away from me, put it down.

Below, notice that TO is reduced to DUH.
Go to the park, have to work, need to know, used to live there, going to eat, try to help, like to travel, love to hear it, hope to see you, plan to visit, decide to stay, continue to work, agree to help, refuse to answer, begin to understand, learn to swim, remember to call, forget to lock the door, ready to leave, happy to help.

Let’s play today, there’s a show tonight, stay together, see you tomorrow.
